Bio

With a passion for the eclectic, Naarm/Melbourne-based producer Ezy Konbini blends together a wide range of influences from hip-hop, house and jazz to breakbeat, dub and drum and bass, creating unique recipes for diverse, genre-mashing beats.

Fast forward to 2023, when Ezy Konbini dropped his first single ICU // Love Experiment Mix, which sampled the vocals from 愛の実験 (Love Experiment) from the soundtrack of the cult classic Japanese film All About Lily Chou Chou.
He playfully mixed genres to create a unique and catchy dance track.

Subsequent releases from Ezy Konbini would see him experiment with wide-ranging genres such as hip hop, chill hop, house, rock and experimental
Ballroom and Moombahton-inspired electronic tracks.

VECTOR:IZE marks a return to dance music and features his strongest production to date, seamlessly incorporating electro, DnB and jungle vibes
as seen through the lens of 90s-2000s video game soundtracks.

With a love of all genres combined with a lifetime of gaming, his true passion is contributing back to the world of music that has shaped his life. As a high schooler he listened intently to The Beatles' albums back to back on wired headphones connected to a power amp. His first album purchase was Fatboy Slim’s You’ve Come A Long Way Baby, which threw him head first into the world of electronic and dance music.

He participated in school bands and orchestras for musicals, alongside formally learning piano up to performance grade.

Keenly listening to the EA Trax curated playlists for video games such as Need For Speed Underground 2 and Burnout Paradise is a core childhood memory. This opened up new genres to him such as electro, metal and DJ remix culture.
